Four young scientists were awarded following the second LIMNA travel grants call for 2017 :

- Svenja Groeneveld, PhD student in the lab of the Prof. Etienne Meylan, EPFL, for the conference "Biology of Cancer: Microenvironment & Metastasis, October 10-14, 2017, Cold Spring Harbor, USA.
- Daniel Mauvoisin, researcher in the lab of in the Prof. Felix Naef, for the Gordon Research Conference Chronobiology, Circadian Regulation Across Physiological Systems, Lifespan and Pathological Conditions, July 16-21, 2017, Stoweflake Conference Center, Stowe, USA.
- Nadège Zanou, postdoctoral researcher in the lab of the Prof. Bengt Kayser, Department of physiology and Institute of sports science, Unil, for the EMBO-FEBS Lecture Course, Mitochondria in life, death and disease, 09-13 October 2017, Brindisi, Italy.
