Glucose-responsive neurons of the paraventricular thalamus control sucrose-seeking behavior

The team of Prof. Thorens from the Center for Integrative Genomic (CIG) of the University of Lausanne (Unil), in collaboration with scientists of the center for psychiatric neurosciences of the Catonal University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), identified a new population of neurones implicated in the glucose regulation mecanisms that may play a key role in diabetes and obesity.
