Former project coordinator
Laurence Descamps is the LIMNA project coordinator. She is biochemist and did her PhD working on the blood-brain barrier at the Pasteur Institute of Lille. She joined sanofi R&D in Montpellier in 1997 as a post-doctoral student in the Discovery Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic Department (DMPK). In 1999, she moved to Strasbourg as scientific coordinator for the Exploratory Research department. In 2002, she came back to Montpellier always in the DMPK Department as scientist in the pharmacokinetic Unit. Then, she was successively head of this pharmacokinetic unit and head of the in vitro unit in charge of the screening and characterization of drugs for their absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion properties (ADME).
She moved to Lausanne in 2012.
